Did you see the Google Trekker around town? Indiana Park & Recreation Association has borrowed the Trekker camera equipment from Google and is sharing it with park departments in Indiana to record unique locations.
It has recently been in South Bend Parks, St. Joseph County Parks, and Goshen Parks, and our own Chuck Lehman took it for a ride around the Mishawaka Riverwalk last week for Mishawaka Parks.
Chuck and the Trekker captured images of Central Park, Beutter Park, Battell Park, Kamm Island, Shiojiri Niwa Japanese Garden, and Kate's Garden.
The images will be submitted for processing and future inclusion as panoramic images that everyone can see and enjoy on Street View in Google Maps.
